Streamed line visas for international students

Under the streamed line visa process you are eligible to be assessed as a student from an Assessment Level 01 which are considered as low immigration risk for Australia regardless of your country of citizenship. Accordingly you need to provide less evidentiary requirements to satisfy the visa requirements. Currently all universities in Australia participate for the Stream Line Visa process and applicants applying for a courses offered by the participating universities with their partner institutions can benefit from the new less evidentiary financial , English and education requirements.

However all students must satisfy the Genuine Temporary Entrant Criteria (GTE) to secure their visa. The GTE offers a wider space for the visa officer to assess your genuine intention and make a subjective decision as a student with regards to several factors out lined in Ministerial Direction 53.
